Some essays I just don't have much to say to such as ties to the state and any connections. They're both separate questions I feel like should be under one. What percentage of the character count have you guys used?

Hi OP. They can be as short as you need them to be to answer the question thoroughly. Generally a short paragraph is enough for most secondaries. And, honestly, since interviews and and admissions committees are going through many apps at once, we appreciate conciseness as long as you answer the question 🙂
