Hey guys,

I have searched for a good half hour and haven't found a clear answer.

Is it a good idea to have a referee submit the same LOR to MD and DO schools? Or should I be asking referees to tailor my LOR a bit more for DO school?

There a lot of recommendations to use the same personal statement but nothing much on LORs. Appreciate your two cents.

you do not need to have MD or DO specific LORs as long as they are decent.
That is more work for your letter writers, and you want to minimize that.

I didn't apply to MD but I would have used all of my letter to MD if I had. Maybe except for the DO physician letter because the provider and talked specifically about osteopathic schools.
