[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I have been working as an ambulance driver from 2 years and I keep on watching patients being taken care so well by hospital staff and watching this I also feel like serving the society. Being a driver I don’t know how to go ahead for this? Please suggest something to move on..

Get your EMT-B cert. Its a couple hundred hour course and can be completed during nights after work.

EMT requirements vary between states. I know FL and CA requires drivers to be EMT and Ambulance Driver certified. Are you already EMT certified and trying to get a position in an acute care facility or trauma center?

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]Yes, I have basic knowledge of how patients are taken care at hospitals. So, in your opinion what should I choose in this field to move further?.

You could also become a nurse (You can be an RN with a 2-year degree). I'm not sure how much time/ money you're willing to invest and whether or not you're interested in going back to school.

This is such a weird question. The medical field is huge with an endless number of career opportunities. I don't think anyone can tell you how to "move further" without knowing more about your ultimate career goals. What do you want to be? Doctor? Nurse? PA? Pharmacist? Do you want to stay in the EMS field and get your EMT-B or EMT-P license? What interests you? If you can't answer this question, then I'd suggest doing a bit of research and getting more exposure to what's out there through volunteering/shadowing people in different fields.

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]I am planning to become supervisor in lab. So, what else would be needed for this?.

I'm kind of confused when you say you want to be a lab supervisor--a research lab or like a hospital lab? I'm assuming the latter since you say you want to work in the medical field. In this case, I'm actually not sure how you'd go about doing this since it's a pretty specific job. To work in a lab, you'll probably need to take in a phlebotomy course. From there, I guess you could work your way up to supervisor? But you might need to have a 4-year degree to get a managerial position in a hospital. You don't mention whether or not you have one.

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]Yes, I am looking for latter one. Till now I don’t have any degree in hand and want to pursue some degree in medical field so that I can start up my career in this field. .

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]I have to serve my family also besides enhancing academically, so preferably looking for online degree course. Kindly suggest some platform to move further?.
