I am so confused as how to go about studying for the bio section. I think I am going to use just Feralis because I like the outlined format and there's enough info on it to do well on the bio section it seems.

But how should I study Feralis? For exams I would have in bio classes I would just divide up my notes like maybe 21 pages in 1 week and I would memorize 3 pages a day and just go over those pages again the next day just to make sure I can remember that info.

But this is tooooo much info IMO to do that. But I don't know what else to do so I can learn this info.

I feel like if I go for shear memorization, I won't be able to handle it as it's too many random facts and terms.

What should I do?

The best thing to do is try to learn the concepts. Everything in biology happens for a reason so try to connect the dots. As for biology studying material I would recommend using Feralis notes as a supplement to Cliffs AP bio.

I thought about that but feel like Cliffs would have way too much unnecessary information and that if I know everything on Feralis I should be good for the DAT.

I mean, how else would Cliffs help me other than another source to go over the information again? And since it's more like a book, I think it'd be tough to try to memorize stuff from it since there's so much fluff.

For me I needed things explained more thoroughly with full sentences. If you feel like you can straight memorize Feralis notes then by all means go for it. Feralis notes actually has more content in it than Cliffs because he compiled notes from multiple sources.

First, I'd suggest using some sort of companion text with the notes, ideally something like Cliff's - it's difficult to learn from the abbreviated notes. They mainly serve as a compressed, structured form with additional detail for easier memorization - but a text like Cliff's will facilitate the initial learning and understanding of the material.

Memorizing those notes is a painful process that even I had a lot of difficulty with it. I can only recommend reading them over (thoroughly) several times. Ideally try to get through ~10 pages a day and when you've gone through the notes enough times the major stuff should have sunk in. When you're getting closer to the test date, start going for full memorization of those tiny details. The sooner you start, the better.

I strongly recommend you know the DAT Destroyer inside and out, in every subject but especially biology. While my notes cover nearly everything, the Destroyer is much more high yield when it comes to material likely to be encountered on the DAT. I also strongly recommend Bootcamp's practice tests here to get used to the timing and question style of the exam.

What Feralis said is what I would recommend verbatim.

I am currently in my final week of studying (DAT next Tuesday!) and I started my final runthrough of Feralis and Destroyer...hopefully I do well enough to post a breakdown but you would be amazed at the level of comprehension during your last week of studying. (Also, as a self check, you should realize that you are familiar with the overall process of all/most of the many topics in bio, and, as Feralis said, you are really only looking to pick up on some minor details

I guess using Cliffs might help understand the material better by just reading it along with Feralis but I really didn't want to spend even more time on biology.

Do the Feralis notes go along with Cliffs in order? Also which edition, 3rd or 4th?

They should follow Cliff's pretty closely. Use the 3rd edition. If you can get your hands on the pdf version, you can even view Cliff's and the notes side by side.

Ha perfect, I was worried about having to drive to get it or order it online and it would take a while but I just found an online PDF of it! So I may do exactly that and look at them side by side.

Here's the link for anyone else wanting it...
