This feels like a dumb question, but does anyone have an idea of the best way to submit update letters? Do I just upload it to my application using the document upload tools, or should I email admissions offices directly?

I assumed that it would be enough to upload my letters as documents via my application portals. I submitted my first update like this yesterday to my top choice school, and originally I was able to see that the document was listed on the update tab post-upload. But I checked back today and it's gone. I'm not really sure what this means and it's very likely that I'm overthinking it, but this is really important to me since it's an extremely significant update that I think will strengthen my app if considered. I'm not sure if their portal is glitching, or if someone saw it and deleted it, or if it was somehow moved elsewhere in my file behind the scenes.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Depends on the school. Some ask for them to be emailed while others will only accept them if they are uploaded directly to the portal.

Usually if it’s not clear on the website, you can find out from past school specific threads
