How similar is BootCamp compared to the actual DAT (for those who have experience in this)?

My test date is on Aug. 26 and I've only got BootCamp as my source of studying other than textbooks from past classes. So far my first run of practice scores are:
Bio-19
Chem-19
OChem-22
RC-19
QR-19
PAT-20

So far I'm having most difficulty on RC ; I use the vanilla method (I'm assuming this is the reading the passage through first meth0d hah) but I get really irritated how I miss 15-20 questions. Ah but I guess it's just practice that can help me here. QR also requires a lot of refreshers but I think i should be able to push for at least a 20 if i try hard enough.

As for PAT the TFE and Keyhole problems give me trouble. I miss around 8-11 from those two sections alone.. Any advice on how to approach these?

Ochem I feel confident in, Bio, I'm okay with it, but Chem might be harder for me. Is BootCamp a good resource for Chem? All in all, how similar is BootCamp to the actual DAT?

Thank you in advance guys 🙂

I took my dat a few days ago and also used boot camp. I was receiving scores similar to yours, but ended up getting a 21aa and 22 ts. I scored 2-3 points higher on the sciences and RC, and PAT was not as hard as the boot camp practice tests.
I always struggled with Keyholes, but for TFE, really try to imagine the 3d shape instead of line counting. Once I started practicing in that manner, TFE just starting clicking for me and I went from getting 1/3 correct to 4/5 correct. Good luck!

BootCamp is much harder for QR, but this is good because it preps you better for the real DAT. The PAT and RC are also harder slightly than the actual DAT. Overall for the sciences, I would say they are pretty much on point, but the real DAT may be a but more generalized in certain questions just because they try to stick to conceptual ideas. My top scores in BC for each section were
BIO/GC/OC/RC/QR/PAT
19/ 18/ 21/26/ 20/ 20

On the real DAT I got
19/18/23/25/19/24

And a note on QR, the final test I took I scored under a 16, that's how bad it was, but if you just stick with it and keep grinding you'll be fine. And the only reason my GC was that low is because I got a really hard version I think, I legit struggled for most of the problems. Just make sure you review all the questions in BC as well because it will go a long way.
