How soon will you know the results of ptce exam?

Just took it. Just want to know if I passed or failed..

If I remember correctly it depended on when you took the exam. If it was early on in the testing period it was a 2-3 week wait. I took mine on the last date available and I am pretty sure I had my results within a week. Also, don't wait for them to contact you. Keep checking the website.

Huh? When I took PTCE I walked into the outer room and they showed me my results on a piece of paper, PASS or FAIL with my score. It did take a month for the certificate to show up, however.

That's the annoying part. I wish they could have expedited my number to register with the TSBP sooner. I had an opportunity for a hospital pharmacy tech job and lost it because I didn't have my stuff then and there. Golden rule: take the PTCE ASAP to apply for tech jobs sooner!

I wonder if it changed...I took it in '08. Would have been nice to get that pay increase the same day I took it.
