Anyone who can't quite answer that question or is unsure about osteopathic medicine in general should read this book: "Osteopathy and the Zombie Apocalypse". Here is a link to it on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Osteopathy-Zombie-Apocalypse-Pre-College-ebook/dp/B008OZSLW2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1371900601&sr=8-2&keywords=osteopathy

It is a quick read and being someone who has had little experience with DO's and OMM this really enlightened me. Check it out!

Haha nope I just thought it was a good book, so I figured I would pass it along to my fellow pre-meds

Seems like a good book! Will check it out after I finish reading all the other books that are sitting on my shelf.

"Why a Do?"

Why a do indeed. I often ask myself, "why a do is sitting?"
