Hi everyone,

I hope all is well. I am currently looking to apply for cardiology in this year's fellowship match and was wondering if anyone knows HOW to go about applying-- I looked at ERAS and was wondering how one goes about getting the token, etc and then what time of year do cardiology fellowships interview applicants? Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

-ERAS opens up in July for you to get a token and start an application (just follow their instructions)
-Applications can be finalized starting November 15 (start early, especially if you have a busy rotation in November!)
-However, programs can't download until Dec 1
-You should have the application and ALL documents in before Dec 1
-Many programs will download right away, but interviews only start to trickle in by second week of January (with most of mine coming in February)
-Most interviews are conducted in late February-mid April with a few outliers (mine ranged Feb 7-May 6)
-You can register with the NRMP (this is separate from ERAS) around April 1 so you and programs can begin entering rank order lists

Hope this helps.
