how to approach dentists

hey guys, how do you all approach dentists to ask if you could shadow them a few times. I ve sent out 4 mails but none has returned anything. Should i just go in person to their office and ask them?

I called about 20 of them from the whitepages. 2 replied.

Yah, just call and ask. If they're a jerk, then you don't want to shadow them anyway. Don't be afraid.

Slowly and cautiously, from behind so they don't see you. Then you take a baseball bat and swing for the back of the head....Oh wait.....wrong animal....

Like everyone else said, just call around and ask. Persistence pays off.
