first of all if you know somebody whose close to the dentist to speak for you for an introduction so that you could be comfortable on meeting the dentist .
I met the dentist this way told him about my goals and abt pursuing a dental career he inivited me to come to the clinic to observe ,slowly i asked him if i could volunteer as a dental asssistant he said that would be fine I used to ask him if i had any doubts regarding the instruments or the procedure he was very helpful plus you get a touch of how things work out here and it kind of helps you to be familiar with how they want things here to be done .So i would suggest you this way. hope i could be of some help

I would say: DON"T BE SHY
Call tons of dental offices.. Filter. Tell them what you want from them.
Some will give a negative response and some will give you more attention.
Filter from there.. Then you can schedule to personally talk to them.

That is how I would proceed if I were you.

I did that to find a place to practice for my bench exams for free.
Found 3 AWESOME opportunities. It ended up helping me more than I expected. I not only got places to practice for free, but also people who were willing to give advice, tutor me, and even got a job offer for when I graduate 🙂

thank you so much dentalpal13 and ilovegoldens for your advice. i appreciate your help..

I think the most convenient way is to ask your own dentist or your family, your friends' dentist.
For me, I just searched my local dentists in google, and called them one by one. I was rejected by some, and others asked me to observe. Don't be shy, it's not hard. I believe most of the dentists are very nice and friendly.
Good luck!
