For those who have already taken Step 1....did you guys answer questions in order or did you skip around? For UWorld and even in exams I have always done the questions that I knew or was comfortable first and then went back to the ones that I didn't know or if the vignette was too long later. I don't know if this method is time consuming in itself. The reason why I am asking is because for the most part I tend to get the question right the second look/time around, but I don't want to waste time by reading the stem twice. Your input is much appreciated. 🙂

I gave myself 60 seconds to answer a question. I tried to answer it in 60 seconds or less. If I couldn't answer it in that allotted time, I marked it and skipped to the next question. After reaching question 46, I would then go back and try to answer my unanswered questions. I never felt short of time using this method. The key is to eliminate answers as you go so when you come back you're only deciding between 2 answers. If you really don't know a question, sometimes its best to guess and move on.
