How to be Successful First Year and what are the best Resources?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
OK, I just thought it makes more sense from an organization standpoint, to have i seperated by source so you can quiz urself based on that.

So you're saying just get AnKing deck (overhaul), and that covers EVERYTHING?
Can you link this deck?

Thx!
Wanted to reply to this too. There are a lot of ways to set up Anki and it is popular to run through cards before an exam or whatever but for the purposes of board exams just do all your reviews every day and don't like cram mode the cards more. Trust the algorithm. Subdecks make you feel good when you look at the screen but are actually not good for learning/reviewing (unless using new V2 experimental scheduler.) Its only one way but putting all unlocked cards in a master deck works well. Use a filtered deck based on tag if you want to study specific things from that deck before an exam or something.

Starting M1 now. Should I purchase the BnB for 2 years now? That’ll cover up til boards right?

Just curious but what study method did you find most helpful? I realize this could depend on the class as well.

Do you guys think an anatomy deck and an omm deck are necessary throughout M1/M2 or are these things that you pick up and work through during M2 and into dedicated?

Experiment with learning techniques . Grind hard, and smash the space bar like your life depends on it .

I personally found firecracker to be instrumental in the preclinical years. If it works for you (try it out) you won't regret putting large amounts of time into using it.
