Hi Mahisha:
If you received your BSc optometry degree and would like to get an O.D. degree in the U.S., you would still need to complete optometry school here. However, you may not need to complete the entire 4 years. Some schools, such as New England College of Optometry, offer an Advanced Standing International Program (ASIP), which is a 2 year program. (

The competition for ASIP is high, and the requirements are: one year of undergraduate education to be completed at a U.S. university, BSc in Optometry degree or equivalent, two years experience practicing optometry, and a detailed CV. I'm not sure how old is this information so you may have to research it.
I found most of this information from an article that Dr. Isabel Sabaté wrote about her own experience. It has a lot of good information that you can review, and could be found here:

The website optometry.com asks that you fill in some general information and they will contact you with some information on practicing optometry in the U.S. -

Finally, if you are in a BSc program now, why don't you ask one of the counselors at your school? They most likely have experience with other students with the same question, and they could direct you to the appropriate sources.
I also found that Berkeley's website has some great information regarding which U.S. optometry schools will award an OD degree to graduates of foreign schools upon completion of a special program, and which schools will admit graduates of foreign schools to their programs with advanced standing -->
