How to fill in AAMCOS courses

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Okay, so I had a couple of questions. One is I don't understand the credits they show on AAMCOS. I filled in a 5 but it won't let me fill in the grade.

The second thing is how do I classify certain classes as biology classes. I took some classes in the psychology department at my college, which are actually bio classes. But their course is called PSYCH. Do I enter "biology" in the subject?

Check out the help menu! It answers your questions in detail, including how to select the classification and there are even examples on the AACOM site.

You should enter the course as it is on your transcript for prefix, description, etc. Think of it as you need to read the instructions on how to assemble a bicycle, if you don't then you just may not make this marathon.

Does anyone know what I classify in the subject material? I want to classify this differently is that okay

read the instruction manual for aacomas as it tells you how to properly classify courses. It almost doesnt matter what you want to put it as. When your application is reviewed, an AACOMAS agent will reclassify your courses as they see fit.

For instance, I took Statics and Dynamics course as any engineer would in my undergrad. But when the agent reviewed my courses, they misread Statics as Statistics, and ended up changing my Engineering course to a Math course. I didnt bother correcting it because I just didnt care.

Thank you.
Just use a little caution as too many errors can get your application delayed.

The below link can be more helpful to read through as you enter the information. Courses often get offered in various departments that more appropriately fall under another category. e.g. A technical mathematics course offered in engineering can be classified as math. If in doubt you can email them with a course info/description and they will provide you with guidance. There are Q&A's at the bottom!!
