NBME/USMLE exams have always been a struggle for me.
Whenever I encounter a long question stem, I kinda freak out and feel like "omg what am I gonna do, I don't know this" instead of calmly analyzing the important clues in the passage.
I often miss vital clues in the passage because I get nervous whenever newly presented information is not familiar to me.
Even if you do not know the answer in the question, you have to be analytical and stay collected to make an educated guess. Especially if there are many distractors, I run into panic mode fast.
What are some strategies/tips on staying on focused despite there are some things that will freak you out because you don't know...
Any help would help, taking step 2 ck next monday (uworld 3x, onlinemeded 2x), low step 1 score, NBMEs 220-240s, looking for 240+. Thanks
