Hey guys, I'm studying in Southeast Asian Studies and would like to know how would one go about to better get some sort of professional relationships with Medical professors and such to get recommendations and researches?

I'm totally new to the Medical field and theres just so much information and threads to read on here I'm not sure where to start. I just got out of the military and started my first semester this year; so I'm not sure if I fall under non-traditional or where I should be posting this.

If you guys don't mind pointing me towards some useful links or threads it would be much appreciated.

If you google, you will find a ton of info.

Basically, you will still have to take science prereqs, so get to know those professors for LORs.

As for the research, contact the Natural Sciences department at your university; they usually have a list of professors who offer placements for undergrads.

Good luck!

Talk to your professors about recommendations. Some schools list research opportunities on their website or list the research interests of professors at the school. Look and see if your school has anything like that.
