I plan on moving in a couple of month, making my commute longer to work. I currently work at a high volume store and the stress of work has taken a toll on my body, and Ive wanted to step down from the store for quite a while. I was only placed here to train for 1 month, but that 1 month has turned in 1 year (and now I am one of the regular pharmacists).

Ive asked my supervisor numerous times to switch but he never was proactive in helping find a different store because many other pharmacists in our district hates coming to our store because it is an absolute mad house at times. But my supervisor and DM just switched, and I dont know if its better to approach my new supervisor or if I should just call the different supervisors in the other districts to see if they have any openings.

just curious do you work for CVS? However, to answer your question you are going to first make sure the other district has openings- if they d you would need to give your supervisor reasonable time- which it appears you already have- if you work for CVS than the Supervisor must approve of the switch- hopefully you will be granted your request.

I have asked yet cause my supervisor is new, didnt know how to go about it just yet. dont know if an email is better or calling and talking on phone

You can contact your desired district supervisor and ask if there is a spot. The new supervisor will contact the old one to ask about you. Moving is always a good reason for switching. Don't trash talk your current district/store no matter what.

I would probably email because I think they prefer that, but also include that if they need to discuss it further, you can call them. People don't talk on the phone anymore. My bosses text me when they need something. It was weird at first, but now I prefer that too.
