just graduated with a biol degree, took DAT...applying this cycle and wait to be rejected (due to my late application at this time).
what should i do next semester to improve my chances on getting in to D-school? because i know if i just sit around and wait,,is not gonna do me any good incase if i wanna re apply for next cycle.
should i take more upper level sciences' related to first year dental school classes? like histology, embryology, and all that?

what should i do?

yeah, upper level science is good. Baylor really likes that. Continue shadowing, retake DAT if needed and apply early next year. Although, if you got your application in before Oct. 1, that's not late for Texas schools. You will still have a chance if you have a good application. They interview all the way through Feb.

I guess it depends on where you think your application is the weakest. Personally I found that volunteer experience in the dental field is gold, or just any volunteer experience is a good thing.

When did you apply? Maybe you didn't apply late.
