I received an Incomplete for one of my courses, which was removed and replaced with an A later on. How do I mark this on AMCAS?
My official transcript lists the course with an "I" grade during the quarter that I took it (Winter). Then, in the Summer quarter, it lists the course again and specifically states "Removal of "I" grade" and assigns the final grade which is an A.
My school did NOT factor this Incomplete into my GPA for the Winter quarter, even before the final grade was assigned later. However I'm deathly concerned that AMCAS will calculate this as an F even though it was removed.
Do I need to list the course as an A and just check the Incomplete box? Or should I make 2 separate entries, one with an "I" in the transcript grade section and one with an A, and mark Incomplete for both? How will this be factored into the AMCAS GPA?
