hello,

well am having trouble with taking and organizing anatomy notes!
we get our lectures as power point slides that i prefer to print out, but as it is the start of schools i want to try the best way this time , and don't have a big mess like i had before!
i need your help please , where should i write my notes?
our slides are mostly like outlines so we need to fill in more notes and i used to write those on the printed slides but when it comes to study time especially before the final exmas , its discouraging to study from a paper full of notes and might take more time .
the other way i tried is adding the other notes on papers or on notebook with reference to book pages, but i feel like it would take more time to copy in the notebook and organize the stuff and i don't always have the courage to write on the notebooks !!
i tried laptops too, but still took time from me !

well ,, what am really looking for is a way that wont take lots of time, easy and clear to study for exams, ht important info and healdlines , diagrams are clear when it comes to studying at exam night! a very productive way !!
what do u suggest? what are the ways u tried and found most beneficial?

thanks a lot =D

Write concepts from the notes from the slide.
2 days before test, create notes from concepts, then look at slides and see if you miss anything.
Make up weird mnemonics that will help you remember stuff.
I mean really weird that you'll just have to remember, that's what I did.
Got A's on A&P I and II.

EDIT: Also, as in my case at least, I did not attend any study groups.

Mnemonic pro-tip: The more vulgar and offensive the mnemonic, the easier it is to remember.

thanks to all who replied!

so i have to think about the mnemonics seriously cuz i rarely use them!

umm, one or two days before exam , where should i study from? shall i have speciall notes ot what?

It depends. My professor was really conceptual with his exams. He would give a bunch of "situation" problems which were really hard. That's why I took concept notes and used mnemonics in my class. I literally busted my ass in that class. If you find out your teacher is one who is labeled a "definition exam" then you should just read up the powerpoints. If not, make your own notes.
