I am planning on applying to at least 20 schools (I don't want to take any chances). I know PharmCAS starts out at $150+50 for each application onward. Then there's the supplemental application fee. So I was just wondering how many schools you guys are applying to and how are you guys paying for the fee? My family isn't exactly rich so do they have fee waivers?

Advice? Please and thank you! 🙂

We're talking at least 1100 big ones if I did the math correct for PharmCAS alone. Granted all of your choice schools use PharmCAS. LOL don't know what to tell you on Supplemental Applications.

I applied to four. Three in the PharmCAS system one that didn't use it. I'm currently working full-time so that's how I covered the costs.

This is the information on qualifications for fee wavers: http://www.pharmcas.org/applicants/fees.htm

This is their form: http://www.pharmcas.org/docs/PharmCAS_Fee_Waiver_Form_1213.pdf

Of course this is for the entering class of 2013 so be on the lookout for when you are applying for Pharmacy School. The form changes with each new entering class.

Like I've said in your other topic you might want to narrow it down in terms of locale. What happens when you get interviews out of your area. Traveling expenses add up too.

Apply for as many schools as you can but be reasonable in the what if situation should you get mutliple interviews invites.

I wish I knew about that link when I applied. I applied to 28 schools but didn't submit supps to 6 of them and 2 of them didn't require supps. But I am lucky enough to have loving parents that pay for my education.
