If your school specifically states something about professional dress or even business casual dress code while on campus then don't wear it...

I've seen worse....

... so yes, it should be fine.

EDIT: Wait a few weeks before wearing it. There is usually a phase at the beginning of medical school where people (faculty, classmates, etc.) get offended/overly-sensitive about very casual dress. Just wait for this phase to die out. The first sign will be yoga pants...everywhere...

What kind of school is this

You mean your school didn't get passive aggressive emails about clothing then have the dean of students get pissed about yoga pants? That's too haram for PROFESSIONALS.

Pm me their email so I can stop them from ruining this

I'd rock it first day of class who cares

Anything that would make a girl smell desperation I would personally ditch . That shirt is one of them.

Thank you all for the feedback. As I mentioned earlier, it was kind of a joke. I don't know what I was thinking when I considered wearing it in the first place.

P.S I'm actually fine being single for now because I still don't know how busy it will be and whether or not I will have time for a committed relationship. Until then, I'll just keep making it RAIN.....with paper towels.

I guarantee you that I have students who would be offended by that t-shirt.

I swear, that they are so thin-skinned that light passes right through them.

So my brother got me this t-shirt for my BD, which was a kind of a joke/trolling thing, maybe because I'm single, lol! Do you guys think it would be appropriate to wear it to school, library, or any where on campus?
Would it violate the "professionalism" principle that we're supposed to uphold as medical students?

Wear it and completely **** what anyone thinks. If its not going to get you in trouble then do it. I doubt it would unless your school is filled with creeps who take offense at anything and everything.

Nobody gave a **** what we wore in the first two years, and I go to school in a pretty "formal" part of the country as far as medical culture. I can't even fathom the stupidity of being told what I can or can't wear to class.

Girls here will still wear yoga pants into the hospital in third year on some days on certain rotations where there was no patient contact, just attendance of grand rounds/didactics. I've gone to grand rounds a couple of times in jeans/plain t-shirt/sneakers (granted this was a rotation in a surgical field where people almost exclusively wore scrubs anyway, but still). Generally people will not bother you at my school unless you're having contact with patients.

This. There are some very uptight people in med school who will not only be offended but will voice their concerns publicly (or to someone senior). I count my blessings that my graduating class was super chill.

Tread carefully.

sounds like you've got a bunch of hydroceles there

Ironically, those uptight and offended people are often the ones who struggle during clinical years.

How dare you wear a shirt that objectifies women, and degrade them down to a animal!! This is pure sexism in which women are viewed as animals to be hunted and perpetuates the Rape culture ...:punch::rage::rage::punch::yeahright:

Not sure if serious...

Oh no! I won't be able to focus on my studies if you wear that shirt in class.

Why take the risk? We all already know how subjective the profession is and all it takes is for one individual to take any offence to make your life that little more miserable than it has to be.

You could wear it anywhere anytime else.

Does that shirt demonstrate high value though?

It does. I hear the virgin time traveler from the late 90's look is all the rage now. I just hope he wears his hat backwards like Fred Durst too.

If you're good looking you can pull off wearing that t shirt or just about any t shirt without problem. If you aren't, do your best to avoid such ridiculousness.
