How to prepare for reading comprehension section?

Hi, I'm a foreigner who came to us 5 years ago. I always struggled on reading section in ACT and did very terrible. Now Im currently a freshman and I really want to improve and get myself prepared for DAT reading section that Im planning to take in aummer after sophomere year. Is there any suggestion, such as practice book or websites, that I can go eead daily to prepare for reading comprehension section? Thank you very much

Scientific American (http://www.scientificamerican.com/) has really good articles that are similar in style to the ones on the DAT. Some are a bit shorter than DAT articles, but I think you can get a feel for how the language and structure will be with any of the SA science articles.

Yup, just start reading. Scientific America, the Economist, the Walrus are all good places for fact dense articles. Don't worry about the content, just get better at going through and picking out information
