Hi everyone
I am waiting for my letter of rec from my professors. I gave them almost two month to complete my letter. As the deadlines approaching, I am getting anxious. I hope they still have the packets I gave them. What would be a good way to remind them without being too pushy and desperate? I know they are all busy and have more important things to do than writing my letter so I dont want to bother them too much
Please help

Thank you

Just do it. Be nice. e-mail or ask in person (preferably the latter, so you can get an immediate response). But make sure you do it. To you, this is one of the most important things in your life. To them, it's just another assignment. That's just my advice.

Dont wait till the last minute to remind them. I think they'll appreciate a polite reminder. Just let them know by when you actually need it, Iam sure they'll understand.

did you write the thank you note yet?
even if you did, write another note/email saying hi and gently reminding them of your application process...

I sent a thank you card, and two of them were done, but one was not done so he felt bad and said he was going to send it out that week. You could always so that and then send them another thank you card...its polite and gets to the point.

I agree, thank you cards are the way to go.

Thank you for all the suggestion

I was going to send the thank you cards after I actually received the letter but I guess I will just do it this week
