Do you select re-applicant status on a school specific basis or is there a general area to select this on the AMCAS application (so schools you have not applied to before will know)? Or is it both?

It will ask when you select schools if you've reapplied there before.

Will we have to reenter everything like our personal info and grades? I'm guessing we will if they don't even remember which schools you've applied to

If you entered all your grade info last cycle, you can have it import it all into this cycle. It is relatively quick and painless. If I remember correctly, you need to send in new transcripts to have them verified AGAIN, even if no new classes were taken.
