Hello everyone! I just took the step 1, satisfied with the results. NOW, onto step 2! However, not exactly sure how to begin. What study materials should I use for ck? I've heard kaplan, first aid, crush, secrets...lots of books!
So, this is what i'm thinking: Kaplan videos and books for ck, then first aid, then usmle world for q bank. Good plan? What has worked for you?

dude, there's a thread 3 or 4 lines down that is >40 pages long. plenty of good info there.

I know, i've seen that thread. Read your post as well. I didn't want to post there because it seemed more of a results thread. I kind of wanted to know more about the resources. I feel like there are lots of diff books to use for step 2...need to find myself a sure fire method.

Hi Coxsackie, I'm new to this forum and I'm in the same position as you. I just passed Step 1 and I'm looking to get started on studying for Step 2. From what I've heard and read on forums it seems like the majority of people are mixing and matching between these resources:

1. Step Up Series
2. Boards and Wards
3. Crush The Boards
4. First Aid
5. UWorld
6. Kaplan

As far as which ones are the most effective, I'm not too sure. Hopefully other members of this forum will be able to help us out and provide some insight!
