general opinions on the best way to study would be very helpful... i know doing questions on uworld is probably a good way to go, but i was wondering if people typically read review books as well, or just used them for reference? in addition, i set up a study schedule for step 1 and i was wondering if anyone could breakdown what they are doing to study for step 2 into some sort of a timeline. i have one month to study. i know this is a very general question but im just trying to figure out where to start!
thanks.

(1) SDN Search Function, believe it or not, you aren't the first one to ask about this topic

(2) FA + Qbank or Step-Up + Qbank or Secrets+Qbank

(3) Many people on SDN are champions who will claim to use only a QBank. In general, unless you are already smoking shelves like its chronic going out of fashion, you'll want some review text.

(4) Best strategy is a dedicated 1 month study period for 2 passes of FA and 1 run through of UWorld. For some people, this is too much, unnecessary, or doesn't fit their schedule. Some people can get away with "easy rotations" x 1 month. Others need the dedicated time. Still others say 2 weeks.

(5) Many residencies CARE about step 2 now. You can definitely improve a ****ty Step 1 score with a better step 2 score (not ultra-competitive, you have to be ultra-competitive for those), and a weak Step 2 score can hurt your rank list (from PDs at several medicine programs during a recent conference)
