I just finished COMLEX step I this summer- How and when should I begin studying for Step II. Which books and strategies are most helpful?? Thanks!

Work hard this year and read on your rotations. Pick up the core knowledge from each subject and use the shelf exams/post-rotation exams as your gauge for how much you learned. Search the clinical rotations board for what resources to use.
Look through the comlex thread in this board to figure out what resources to use closer to the test for review. I underline review because you should be picking back up most of the stuff you learned 3rd year and some basic stuff you memorized for level I.
Nothing can replace working hard 3rd year though.
