I'm really confused as how I should study. I have the latest Kaplan book but I didn't take anatomy 2 yet so Im really tempted to read the anatomy textbook on the different body systems first and then start the Kaplan book. Is that a good idea? Im so confused! Is the DAT destroyer something to highly consider? Also how should I split up my studying? Sciences, math, and PAT everyday or alternate between science and mat/PAT? Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Thank you!

There are literally HUNDREDS of posts on studying on the DAT. Take 10 minutes and search for them and you'll get immediate answers.

DAT destroyer is highly valuable. But I would not approach it before reviewing the material first.

I am still studying for DAT, which I will take in August.

For me, it is all about repetition. I have adhd, so things do not sink in as normally. I have to become a book worm to learn anything. Just open that biology DAT preparation book, and start reading it. Finish it. Then go back and read it again. Then go back and read it again. The third time, things will start to sink in, at least for me. The forth time you go over the bio lecture book, you will be skimming through, only stopping at things you do not understand. Do the same with orgo, and chem.

Then after you are done with mastering the lecture material, open DAT destroyer. Repetition again.

I did not approach QR, and just browsed over math. But I am starting Math review this week, though.

Also, everytime I read, I use sticky notes, and whatever I do not know, I put it on the sticky note, and put it on the wall. I have a wall, separated into Biology, chemistry, orgo section. So I put sticky notes into each section. For me it works better than 3x5 cards, because Sticky notes are always visible. With adhd, it is hard to go over 3x5. Right now I have the whole wall covered in sticky notes.

What freaks me out though is taking tests. Applying knowledge to the test is very hard.
