Here are my DAT scores (taken 07/01/2005):

PAT: 25
Bio: 19
GC: 25
OC: 25
RCT: 22
QR: 22

DAT Ave: 24

  • Do NOT waste $1100 for KAPLAN's Classroom Courses
  • Do NOT purhcase KAPLAN's Text or Review Notes (They are too general and do not go into much detail)
  • DO Purchase TopScore (Very similar format to the actual DAT)
  • DO study one year in advance, or at least study intensely one month before
  • DO purchase KAPLANs Subject Exams

I used TopScore and KAPLAN's Subject Exams to study for my DATs and I
would recommend them to ANYONE who wants to succeed on their DATs. Send me an email if you want to know how to obtain the KAPLAN's Subject Exams. Here's what I have:
  • 5 - Biology Exams (40 questions each exam)
  • 5 - General Chemistry Exams (35 questions each exam)
  • 5 - Organic Chemistry Exams (35 questions each exam)
  • 2 - Reading Comprehension Workshops (3 articles each workshop)
  • 7 - Quantitative Reasoning Exams (25 questions each exam)
  • 20 - PAT Exams (3 - Top-Front-End, 5 - Cube Counting, 4 - Angle
    Ranking, 3 - Pattern Folding, 2 - Keyhole, 3 - Hole Punching)
  • 2 - Natural Sciences Workshop (100 questions each: 40 Biology, 35 GC, 35 OC)

Those are the only materials you used to get those scores (kaplan and topscore?). How did u study for it, how did u break your time? Since your saying the review notes are terrible what tools did you use? Thanks a lot in advance. Please elaborate because i'm going to start my studying soon and I don't want to waste time in the process. Thanks again.

Did you spend one year studying just the subject tests and TopScore? That's like 27 seconds per day for all TopScore tests. Probably around 50 seconds per day for Kaplan subject tests.

This sounds more like a sales pitch to me..hahah ....goodjob on the test what percintailes were they...99 for all..heh..

Not everybody needs to study a year in advance or intensely for a month. It all depends on how long it takes to you learn something, I mean I studied while watching tv, I never went to a library or anything like that, I never used topscore either and I pulled off a 22. So it all depends on the person. Not everybody needs to use topscore.
