Hey guys I was just wondering how some of you go abt using destroyer...I just started yesterday with a 100 bio questions which took me abt 42 min and i got 76/100...I still want to look over every question and answer choice however it just seems so daunting I barely got through the first 17 questions and answer choices...I found myself with my campbell's text, cliffs, and wikipedia open there's just so many topics that i needed everything out simultaneously lol...

ok so my question is do any of you have a better more chill way of going abt this beast, I really wanna do this right and get the most out of it...My goal is to finish it in 10 days to 2 weeks give or take...

you'll be fine... its slow at first as I was like you lol... but youll get faster and faster... I'm going through destroyer 3 times before my test... at least

Its 4th of july what do you expect?

some bio questions are obvious and you can pick out the answer quickly and easily.

But you don't want to just know why A is correct. know why B-e are wrong and what do they actually mean.

Do the same thing for ochem and chem for concept based questions.

I agree with herkulease. I feel ok about bio, but I just got destroyer and I hope to go over the whole thing twice before my exam-july 24. My first go round-which is right now, I am answering the questions, getting some right, and some not, but looking at the solutions very closely. I guess you could say I'm using it as a learning tool. I'm trying to remember as much details as I can.Especially with the which is false questions-if all the other answer choices are true-I try to make sure I know and understand those other choices as well. I;m hoping the bio on DAT isnt this detailed, but I'm just trying to shove as much info in my head as I can..

ok cool, so ill do as much as i can each day...right now im doing as u guys looking up every answer choice why its right or wrong and writing notes in next to it in the book...thanks for the input ppl. 😀

i broke bio, gchem, and ochem up into 5 days... wanted to go through it twice before my test but i failed today so... we'll see how it goes lol

Go through the entire thing 3 times. First time will be hellishly slow but make sure you understand why things are right and why things are wrong. The second time through mark the tricky ones. Third time through just go through the ones you marked.

This is the strategy i feel makes the most sense for each section.

Destroyer bio is overkill

so i shouldn't be writing notes next to every answer choice like i am now?

That would make it harder to go back through and take the questions again uninfluenced. I would recommend using a notebook to write stuff in if you want to go through them again.
