how to use custom avatars

I downloaded a picture, and I want to use it as a avatar, but when I shrink the picture it says it still too large.

anybody got any ideas

make it 100 pixels by 100 pixels in photoshop if you have it. That always works for me.

Make sure it's less than 19.5 KB too. If you have a high res pic, it can be more than 19.5K easily. SDN won't like it🙂

I tweaked my El nino avatar on photoshop, its really nice, Thanks again taco and Luder.

If you don't have photoshop, just resize it in paintshop on your pc. If it's still too large, shrink it again and then try to upload it again.
