I just started at CVS a couple of weeks ago with no prior pharmacy experience. They train you for everything. I'm older, 31, and already have a BS, but I don't think it really matters. It probably depends more on how available jobs are in your area. If they rarely have openings, you wouldn't be as competitive for the job as someone with tech certification. Just go and apply. You don't have anything to lose.

alot of cvs's now you apply online, and many (like ours) dont even have paper applications anymore.. go to cvs.com. you dont need experience but dont expect them to be letting you type rxs as soon as you get there - you'll be doing cashier stuff for awhile. also- you have to be 18 to work behind the counter now.
