how/when did you get results

There is currently a statement on the USMLE website stating that results from Mid February to Early April may be reported as late as Apr 27. I hope that is not the case.

How long have most recent test takers been waiting?

How are results reported? Via mail or email or what?

I took the test recently and did not feel like it went well at all. Waiting until the end of April for results will be torture.

Additionally, does anyone know why it sometimes only takes 3 weeks (how long I waited for step 1 scores) to get scores and sometimes almost 3 months (how long I waited for step 2 scores)?

The 4th Wednesday after the test rule worked for me. Took it 1/23-1/24 and got my score 12am 2/16

I agree, this length of time is awful to have to wait. I keep telling myself that I thought I did awful on the practice tests, then I was surprised when I did fine, but still the real test was more grueling, 8 hours in a row basically, it wears on you. I found that I made simple mistakes that I wouldn't have made if I wasn't under such a time crunch. I managed to finish all of the mc I think, but I checked off like a 1/3 of some sections to go back and review. I mean waiting over 2 months is crap

Did you run out of time on any of your cases, even though your patient was getting better (or not). I am trying to be positive and hoping that the orders that we place in the last 5 minutes will give us some points even if we didn't actually see the resolution of the case. Did you have any of these problems?

Took the exam 2/8-2/9 and received my score today. I think I had the old CCS software, not the new version so I don't know if that's the main variable delaying score reports.

Also, I still haven't received an email saying my score is available, I just checked the candidate website when I woke up this morning and it was there.

That's how I did it too, didn't get the e-mail until around 8pm on a Wednesday. Btw, congrats if you passed!
