Hello,

I had a question of how to study/review for inorganic and biology. I took a year of Biology and Inoganic Chem more than 5 years ago. I plan to take Organic and Physics in the fall. I would like to start now to review/relearn the biology and inorganic to do well on the MCAT.
What would you suggest as the best way to review:
-Re-taking the classes?
-Reviewing and relearning with a biology and inorganic textbook?
-Reviewing and relearning bio and inorganic with subject-specific MCAT study guides? And if so, are some better than others (Kaplan, Examkrackers, etc).

Also, can someone clarify this MCAT question? 😕
If I take the MCAT next Spring (2010), I would use that score to apply for admission for the Fall of 2010 or 2011?

Thanks

I would re-view and relearn MCAT materials as that is the most pertinent. Psosibly supplement with a textbook. For me, I love the examkrackers stuff. The Princeton one is so dry and I don't have any experience with the kaplan stuff.
For the MCAT score, you could use it for either year as the scores are good for three years I believe. It's really up to you when you feel ready to apply.
