to apply to Howard it is REQUIRED to have at least a 17 in each of the eight sections of the dat, I saw it on their site,

does that mean it's a waste of money to apply if you have less than a 17 in one or 2 sections, even if you are a minority, and have good experience in the field, etc ???

I am really scared cuz now I have no where to go , please anyone reply thanks

i have not spoken to howard, but on Tenn website it said same thing. i had one bad score in QR (16) and they said it was still ok. from looking at the scores howard accepts, you could probably get all 16's and still get in....

take a look at this:

they have accepted at least one 12 AA, 12 PAT and 14 TS...
and look at their average AA, PAT and TS; 16 and 17. so obviously they do not stick to their 17 cut off rule

they dont necessarily stick to those cut offs but i doubt they accept anyone with low scores as the previous poster indicated.

im the previous poster. did you look at the link i provided? those are the range of scores accepted. the info was provided by drtoothache and is from the 2008 official guide to dental schools.

so i suggust you actually look at the link provided instead of saying that i am making up scores
