Can someone tell me which is better for doctors..considering ease of use, availability of applications and the like....pocket pc vs palm basically in the $200 price range.

currently, i think that the epocrates free pharm reference software is only free for palm based systems, and you have to pay for it with others...check into it because epocrates is really useful.

all systems are easy to use more or less once you learn how. i like my palm...
 
epocrates if free PocketPC also.

Check out the Dell Axim 30. You'll get WiFi and BlueTooth in the $250 price range.

I am more familiar with the Palm, Tungsten E since I own one. The Tungsten is very handy and brilliant screen but only complaint or regret is that it does not have Internet capabilities, no WiFi hook up. Which is disappointing since I have wireless all over my house, school and work.

Generally, there are more FREE software for palm then there are for the Pocket PC.

In the future, I would definitely buy a PDA with wireless capability.
