If you're thinking about the new HTC Touch Pro2, let me tell you that it's a great phone! Large touch-screen, easy navigation, and it will get an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5
I don't think anyone will switch from an iPhone to this one, but if you're stuck on Verizon or Sprint and you're still using Windows Mobile, then this is a great option.
I've had a Treo 700wx, an HTC XV6800 (HTC Titan), and I've also personally tested/used the BlackBerry Storm, the iPhone, the BlackBerry Curve, the Palm Pre, and the T-Mobile G1.
The Touch Pro2 is unlike any other Windows Mobile phone. If I had to start all over, I'd probably get an iPhone. However, since I'm staying on Verizon, the Touch Pro2 is currently the best smartphone on their list. They will have some new phones coming out this fall (including the Storm 2, an updated Samsung Omnia, and others).
