Human physiology count as part of science gpa?

I was thinking of taking human physiology next fall. Would that count as part of science GPA? What about Human Anatomy? Thank alot!

Four things go into your "science" GPA for AMCAS: biology, chemistry, physics and math. Anatomy and physiology are both biology.

These classes will be included in your science GPA since they are biology classes.

Hi Gator,

My premed advisor told me that a general rule of thumb is to focus on the content of the class in question. As a Human Anatomy class deals with biology, yes, it would factor into your science GPA (as none said, BCPM are the four categories for the sci GPA). This idea also holds for classes in which the content is math or science based, but the department is sometimes not.
