I'd say it largely depends on how hard your worked in M2. Assuming you worked hard and learned the material the first time around, 230 should be very doable in ~4 weeks of focused study.

How hard is it to get a 230? I know the average is around 220.

For example, like compared to a 30 MCAT.

I want to be prepared for the fight ahead basically.

For the MCAT, I had a much better idea of what to do.

You are going to get so many widely varying opinions on this. The person who busted their butt to get a 210 will tell you it's really hard to do. The person who busted their butt to get a 260 will tell you that a 230 can be done very easily.

Bottom line: come up with a plan. Study your butt off (or don't). Be happy with what you score.

I am working on a plan.......(in another thread).

I still have time. First yr. Just like to be prepared.

True. It is hard to really answer.

And I plan to study along with in FA in M2 yr and review some stuff this summer like Gross, Biochem, etc.

So, it will be somewhat fresh and maybe stay in my head.

If you learn the stuff well during first and second year (i.e. don't cram right before the exams), step 1 will be way easier to study for--it will all be review. I set out to review some stuff the summer between. I stopped very quickly. Enjoy that summer.

I was not going to do a big review maybe a week or two. Also, I like to keep my brain going.

I dont plan on doing research. Gonna work as a pharm.
