I Am On Aamc's List Of Post-bacc Programs And I Do Not See Hunter's Program Listed On There. I Do However See Ccny's Listed. Are You Guys Sure That Hunter's Is A Formal Program? Why Wouldn't It Be Listed There?
Cuny Hunter is not a formal program. You have to get in contact with the Pre-Health advisor at the school to find out more information. Or you can join the Post-Bacc Community Group on Yahoo (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PreHealthPostBacc/). They should be able to help you out with any particular questions you have regarding the program at Hunter. Good Luck.
No, I do not see any reason why they would. As long as you are able to fulfill all of the pre-med requirements, get the pre-health committee sponsorship, and volunteer experience, you should be as good a candidate coming from an informal program as you would be coming from a formal program.
