I suppose this is also advice for the newbies. Don't worry about the ability of the organization, retail, hospital, etc., because people don't seem to stay long-term with employers these days. You get at least a year in, not a problem to move on. If the position works for your development, just go with it. I knew a hospital, totally gutted by another one opening across the street, that limped on half-empty for 3 years.
