are we responsible for knowing the hypothalamic hormones and their function?

EK begins with just those of the pituitary and the extent to which the discuss the hypothalamus is for oxytocin and ADH which are produced in the hypothalamus and secreted from the posterior pituitary, HOWEVER, there is no mention of CRH, TRH, GRH, etc...

Nah. Just know that they do exist and do control the release of anterior pituitary hormones.

Know oxytocin and ADH explicitly, but the other hormones are local acting hormones that either stimulate or inhibit hormone release from anterior. And remember that the hypothalamic-hypophyseal portal allows for the local activity of the inhibiting/releasing hormones.
