Hey guys, I am in trouble! As of right now, I am going to take basics at a community college in the spring and summer of 2007 as a freshman, then transfer to a 4yr university. After reading these posts on SDN...I am now wondering if I should just take all my pre-reqs for dental school at this community college...and start doing them now in the spring as a freshman. I am nervous and I only have till January the 8th to sign up for my classes! By the way, I will only be taking 12 hours my first semester. HEEEEEEEELP ME!😕

I don't know for sure but most dental school require courses from 4 year college.. you might want to check

Well, I live in Texas, and I plan on only applying to the three dental schools in Texas. Does anyone go to UT-Houston, san antonio or Baylor dental school that could give me some information?

I suggest that you go to their website and read the admission requirements. As far as I understand, it is ok to take core curr. at a cc, but d schools DO want you to take science courses at a 4 year institution.
