I just bought Crack DAT RC and did one of the RC test. Is there anyone who tried and did Crack DAT RC?


Any opinion about the CRACK DAT RC?

Crack DAT RC has some TONE, and Inference questions.....So my questions are..

Question 1: Is Crack DAT RC easier than real DAT RC?
or is it harder than real DAT RC?

Question 2 :The practice test of Crack DAT RC includes over 20 paragraphs per passage. (Crack has 22-23 paragraphs per passage)
Is it longer or shorter than real DAT RC?

Please reply to each questions....

I have this product but haven't used it yet. I did fine on topscore with a 21 so I'll put this off til a couple weeks before DAT time.

From my understanding, Crack does have many of the tone and inferance questions. (unlike the real DAT from what I'm told)

Granted, it may not be like the DAT in that effect, I think that if you are prepared for those types of questions (T&I) you will be much better prepared to answer FACT questions and the RC section will be cake.

I have CDR and their questions seems very "Robotic". Every passage has very similar questions been asked. Yes, they do have a lot of tone questions which may or may not be a good thing. Anyway, I stop using it after two tests. 👎

The real DAT has more tone and logic questions than Crack DAT RC? or less?

I think the length of passages in crack DAT RC is pretty long...(22-23 paragraphs..)

1. dat has less tone questions and i dont know what you mean by logic...
2. crack dat RC passages are very short compared to the real thing...there is not even one passage where i saw 22-23 para. on Crack dat RC.
- IN CDRC the passages are short + the paragraph length are short. and it is all tone and inference questions.

I used Crack DAT READING Ace edition and scored a 21 on the RC section.

I thought it was really helpful since their passages were relatively similar to what I saw on the actual DAT. I agree that they have a lot of tone and inference questions, but I feel that since by practicing with these challenging problems is what really prepared me. The other great benefit was that I was able to get a feel for the real exam since they have their tests set up as far as looks, scoring and timing exactly like the real DAT. My friend is using the Royal Flush edition and she said that she updated her program for FREE to the newest version, in which they added 3 new passages and questions.

Sorry , no offense😀. I am sure you can get improvement with CDR. It is just how much can you get from what you paid for.
