I recently changed my first name, making my ex-first name my current middle name. I did notify my letter writers but they might still accidentally refer to me via my middle name. Should I be worried? Or is this not a big deal?

Don't you have to list previous/full names on AMCAS? As long as the letters have your AAMC ID and your last name, I don't see why there would be a problem.

Generally you want to avoid changing big things like this (name, address, phone number) during an application cycle unless absolutely necessary, because all it does is create confusion.

Dude, you have like multiple threads and you want to apply to one medical school. Hmmmm :troll:
