I studied very hard --- MPhA Book and Reiss Fed Pharmacy book --- I know I did not know/remember everything, but I still felt confident that I did a good job reviewing the material. Yet, in my opinion the exam was tough. It's a long time since I have done an exam and feel so hopeless. There were some questions that I just couldn't remember what was the best choice, based on what I read -- but there were other questions that I could not get right even if I read 1 million times and recalled everything. The terms "may" and "shall" were frequently interspersed among answer choices and I was just unsure about a whooole lot of things. I have not failed an exam in years......but this one has me wondering.... I didn't expect to come out of the exam being certain I did very very well, but I at least expected to feel confident with most of the questions. Other than the first two questions in the exam - nothing else was easy to me.Sigh...I feel very depressed right now 🙁

So depressed..........did anyone do the Maryand (or any other) MPJE recently and felt the same way, but passed? I see many posts where people say that happened in NAPLEX, but not MPJE. The options were so obscure.......sigh. I can't sleep, as I feel so worried.

Sigh...no one to share their RECENT experience. Oh well......... Can anyone at least tell me how soon his/her result was back? The anxiety is killing me.... Thanks

friend of mine took GA MPJE on monday and got his result wed. When he walked out, he said he definitely FAIL, but he PASSED. Everyone felt the same way after Naplex/MPJE exam. Good luck

Thanks for the insight. I hope I have the same good fortune as your friend...I have been so nervous/stressed/depressed since the day of the exam. Well, hopefully I will get my results soon...(did it on Tuesday)...I ahve been checking NABP's website every 30 mins 🙁🙁🙁

OMG! Just checked NABP for the 100th time since this morning -- results just came in! I paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssed!!! Only a 79 though -- but it is a pass! better than a 74! Thank God..miracles happen! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 So happy..so relieved..I can sleep tonight!

Congrats...see told you...
I also checked mine...I passed..but Naplex though...I was nervous as hell but did great...Congats to both of us...Yayyyyy

Janki:
I just studied the two books I mentioned. I read the federal book twice and the state law book (from MPha) about 5 times. I highlighted things I thought was important etc etc. However, I do think I "scraped through" mainly because of my approach to each question......not just what I studied....because as you said, you studied the same material. To be honest, I was only 100% positive about my answers for questions 1 and 2 🙂 After that, everything else was either a complete struggle or a conflict between 2 answers. The time for the exam is more than enough...so while I did not waste time on questions I know I could never ever know, I did not just select an answer randomly. I always re-read the question, and then tried to eliminate questions. i used up my note pad so much you would think it was a Math exam. That's because I kept making two columns for the most challenging questions...one was for items that were definitely wrong, one was for 'maybe's." I then focused on the maybe's and narrowed down again if i could. If there were only 2 answers in my head, I didn't bother to make columns....but most of the exam I was eliminating. So I guess, I got a few answers among those I narrowed down from -- even though I wasn't sure of the answers I chose. Of course for some questions, I couldn't even decide what to put in which column 🙁🙁🙁 ...........but overall things worked out so I am grateful and relieved now I will prepare for the NAPLEX.

Hey Folks, I took MD MPJE last week n passed the test! I used the standard "guide to federal pharmacy law" book for the federal law and referred to BOP website for state regulations. I bought Manan Shroff quiz and at the last day I came to know that there are many mistakes in the Quiz which is not complying to regulations (Both Federal and State). Not that its not worth buying, but do not assume each answer is correct as given in the tool. Check it yourself with the regulations. I pointed these mistakes to them and got my money refunded. Good luck for your test!

Hey, I was wondering, where did you get the MPhA book? care to share a link on where I can purchase it? I tried looking thru the organization website but could not find it. Thanks!

I want to do reciprocity for MD... Do I have to have a certain amount of hours of pharmacy practice experience to be licensed in MD? Or can I have just a license from a state like VA?

Thanks!

To all,
Understand these exams as prepared by professionals. Read each then go back and read the question again word by word.
