Do exactly what you would have done before you knew you were accepted. You don't have to go just because you were accepted, especially if you have a nagging feeling it's not right for you. Do you want to be a nurse at all? If not, definitely don't go to nursing school. If you do want to be a nurse...then maybe you should consider it.

Nursing generally has very different science prerequisites than pharmacy school so you may find yourself just wasting time if you really only want to go to pharmacy school and you haven't finished the prerequisites yet.

Are you seriously asking a bunch of strangers on the internet to decide whether you should go into nursing or pharmacy? There is no "right answer"... you have to decide what's best for you.

It's silly to go into a nursing program if nursing isn't what you want to do with your life.

I went through a couple semesters of nursing school. I hated it and quit and it took me 10 years of retail employment before I finally decided I needed to go back to school.

You have to have a special personality type to tolerate or enjoy being a nurse. The advice I received but didn't listen to was: "Be a CNA first, if you like that you'll love being a nurse."
I believe that you can still take around an 8 week class and then test to be a CNA. Maybe take it over summer break and try a part time job as one or possibly even a volunteer experience if you can't find paid employment in it.
If you hate being a CNA, save yourself the trouble of doing something you won't enjoy.
I had tried to convince myself that the short school time and excellent pay(at the time) was enough to get over the other aspects of nursing I didn't like, for instance, touching people, ever. I don't mind urine, feces and blood, but I hate physical contact with people.

Try to picture yourself actually doing the job, if any of it makes you recoil in horror, then it's probably not for you. Doesn't necessarily mean that pharmacy is for you either, you're the only one who can figure that out.

As far as prereqs they share, I took Micro and A&P I and II as part of my nursing pre reqs. Nothing other than that though that would count as anything towards pharmacy.

Do you like both nursing and pharmacy???
Write out a list of all the pros and cons of both nursing and pharmacy.
I know it's hard to decide. Are you confident that you will get into pharmacy school and are you confident that you will make it through pharmacy school? If so then you should choose pharmacy, since you like pharmacy and you're confident you will make it.

Have you ever had experience with nursing and pharmacy? Read up on it and see which is right for you.

Also, say you did decline nursing school. Couldn't you get accepted again if you find out you don't want to do pharmacy?

How far are you with your pharmacy prereqs? If you have only a few classes to do there may be a way to finish your prereqs and go to nursing school to see if you like it.

If you only like pharmacy then go for pharmacy because I don't think anybody wants a nurse who doesn't like her job and just doing it just because her family said so. Do what YOU want to do. Do what YOU have passion for. Your passion and determination for a certain path can take you a long way.
Think with 20% logic and 80% heart.
