I just submitted my PASS application, and want to complain about how much PASS sucks. Even if they get everything right, they still take way too much of my money. I remember the inefficiency of AADSAS, so I am assuming it will be more of the same. Any other stories of how they screw things up so I know what to avoid. (Can you feel the pessimism running through my veins with this.) Otherwise, lets hope it all goes without a hitch. (I'll let you know when they send stuff out weeks from now.)

Yup, I'm not a big fan of it either. But you're at their mercy, there is no getting around PASS.

If it makes you feel better, my application last year was completed the exact day of my deadline and everything reached the programs in time for the program deadlines.

I don't understand why for 800 bucks it takes them 3 weeks do photocopy stuff and get it out.

And the worst part was after my app was complete and before they mailed it out, I wanted to add 3 schools. Instead of just processing the new ones and sending them out w/ my initial mailing, they said i had to wait until they mailed my first set out, then mail a request for additional schools, and then wait another 2-3 weeks.

Good thing I got done w/ it early I guess.

And is that all it takes? Or did you use it in multiple posts?

This is exactly what I am saying. But I learned my lesson as well, and have it in early. Should be okay.

I just heard notice from schools that they (at least some) have received my PASS application. So, this case study shows that it takes about three weeks, since PASS didn't receive my mailed materials until August 15th. Yeah, I know they only mail stuff out every so often. Anyway, I'm glad the first step is over with no major flaws. And I did everything a month before the deadline, so now we wait...
